It was a fantastic start to her career, and led to bigger roles in films such as Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. American Pie - a cult film that explored sexual interactions among teenagers was her debut big breakthrough into Hollywood. Her role as Vicky as the virgin made her an attractive appearance. It was all a unnecessary waste of time. Reid did not do well in movies such as Josie and the Pussycats. The actress did appear in a small role for a brief part in American Pie 2 but it wasn't a huge help to her waning career. Reid's off-screen blunders, a publicized and disastrous plastic surgery, and her numerous performances that have been a blink and miss, has turned her into the party goer or designer, rather than an actress.
